THE LITTLE PRINCE, the immersive odyssey

Culturespaces Studio and the Estate of Antoine de Saint Exupéry have partnered to present “The Little Prince, the immersive odyssey”, an original creation specially designed for the Bassins des Lumières.

This immersive exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the timeless world of the Little Prince in a whole new light. Saint-Exupéry’s watercolors and words take shape and unfold on walls and floors, plunging us into a world where the imaginary reigns supreme. Roses whisper, foxes converse and snakes dance, as we travel effortlessly from an infinite desert to a verdant meadow, from one planet to another, where neither time nor space have any hold.

In this poetic, luminous universe, we follow the Little Prince on his quest for meaning, seeking to tame the world around him. A quest that resonates with each and every one of us, touching on the major themes of the story: curiosity, friendship, solitude, love and loss. More than a simple children’s tale, this work touches the child in all of us, reminding us of the importance of imagination, curiosity and the heart. As Saint-Exupéry so aptly put it: “You can only see well with your heart; what is essential is invisible to the eye”.
