The exhibition pays tribute to the colourful, abstract works of Paul Klee, a major painter of the 20th century, but also a musician and teacher. This immersive production takes visitors to the heart of Klee’s works, which are true pictorial scales, creating correspondences between the images and the arias from Mozart’s Magic Flute.
The exhibition is transformed into an underwater concerto, surrounded by multicoloured fish and punctuated by the geometric structures of Paul Klee’s paintings. Dozens of portraits and puppets respond to each other to the tune of Papageno, concluding an enchanted interlude between painting and music.
