COLOURS X COLOURS

Thomas Blanchard and Oilhack present an original calming creation devoted to the art of macro video. “Colours x Colours” captures the movements that occur within artistic creations, painted in acrylic paint, oil paint or soap, and provides an opportunity, thanks to a high optical magnification, to view painting and its techniques from a new perspective.

The first part of the artwork focuses on the density of inks – liquids shown in close up –, followed by motifs of roots and flowers. The experience then continues with a focus on glycerophtalic paint and paint balls, which eventually explode into an abundance of colours, nuances and movements.
